Surfing using a longboard is a better way to learn how to surf. Even if you may use the shortboard in learning how to surf, it would take much longer and might require you to endure an overwhelming amount of frustration. Longboard surfs would allow you to learn the skill in an easy way in so many ways.

First, longboards are more merciful that the shorter ones. People who only begun to surf don’t yet have the conditioned shoulders to be able to use a shorter board. It takes time and practice to have the conditioned shoulders. However, paddling in a longboard surf will be a little challenging. But in totality, it is much easier to use still than the short one.
